Macromedia Flash Developer

Full time programmer position to enhance the StrandVision Digital Signage system.

• Enhance the flash player that is used for playing the digital signage for StrandVision Digital Signage.
• Create special animations for various parts of the home page to provide a visual representation of the system in various industries.
• Create patent pending technology using flash to make creating the digital signage content easier, more flexible with lower overall editing bandwidth to the server.
• Work with other company staff to develop specifications for new development projects and features.
• Create and use object oriented programming and utilize components for as much of the flash development.
• Work with the PHP programmer to develop effective server communication protocols.
• Occasionally work with customers on support issues that occur to be able to recreate and solve bugs in the code.
• Document all customer activity, bugs, fixes and completed enhancements thoroughly in the company contact management system.
• Be involved with the management team to provide feedback on company direction.
• Travel to industry trade show an average of twice per year.
• Occasionally go on customer installations to identify improvements based on how customers use the system.

Sales/Marketing Internship

Part time sales and marketing internship position assisting the president in gaining market knowledge and market share in a 50 mile radius of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

• Create a research questionnaire that will inform the company about StrandVision Digital Signage products while identifying key market information including terminology, uses of digital signage, future enhancements needed and wanted and tangible and intangible return on investment data.
• Make phone calls and schedule research/sales meetings with local companies in the following industries: medical, dentists, chiropractors and clinics; Grocery; Automotive Services; Fitness Centers; Hotels; Banks and Credit Unions; Business over 15 employees.
• Travel 1-2 days per week to these companies within a 50 mile radius of Eau Claire with the President initially and alone as knowledge of the product and customer is demonstrated.
• Document all phone calls and meetings thoroughly in the company contact management system.
• Be involved with the management team to provide feedback on company direction.
• Potentially travel to up to one industry trade show per quarter as a sales person.
• Answer incoming sales and marketing calls as the need arises.
• Develop basic specifications for new features to be handed off to development to create.
• As time permits, contacting kiosk and digital signage companies to become resellers of StrandVision Digital Signage.

Telephone Operator

Full time telephone operator and receptionist for StrandVision Digital Signage.

• Telephone switchboard operator receiving all incoming calls and professionally answering with the current months marketing message.
• Maintain a neat work area and professionally greet visitors to the StrandVision Digital Signage facilities.
• Keep a listing of currently available people on in/out board to notify customers in advance of unavailability.
• Transfer of telephone calls to appropriate personnel and provides voice mail, email message or continuing to hold options.
• Data entry of various digital signage and kiosk directories into the contact management system for later follow up.
• Provide basic information of the StrandVision Digital Signage products and services and gather customer information when necessary.
