Since StrandVision Digital Signage is an internet driven system, there are very few requirements
for the basic system. The minimum requirements are:
- For non-animated pages, a Windows or Linux/Unix computer system capable of running a web browser and flash (Pentium III
700mhz or higher with 256MB Ram)
- For scrolling text, flash animation or video playback, a Windows 2000 or XP computer system with more than
- 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 3.2Ghz Intel P4 or 2Ghz AMD Athlon 64 X2
- 512MB Ram
- 40GB hard drive
- nVidia or ATI VGA or DVI display adapter with 128MB RAM, DirectX 9 compatible, PCI Express (PCI-E) preferred
- A high definition (not enhanced definition) 4:3 or 16:9 aspect screen with VGA or DVI port (1024 x 768 or 1366 x 768 or higher native resolution)
- VGA or DVI cable long enough to reach the screen without splicing (up to 100 feet) - call us if your pc is further than 100 feet from the screen.
- Wireless mouse and keyboard if the computer is not in line of site of the screen
- Broadband DSL or cable Internet connection - connected 24 hours a day

have this built in)
- A way to convert audio and SVID/RCA television signals to cable television
signals (low cost VCR's work well for channel 3 or 4)
- Televisions installed at all viewing locations
- Coaxial cable wired from the distribution point to each television
